Heritage Capital Advisors is a real estate advisory and investment management firm with offices in San Francisco and San Diego, California. Each of our team members has over 20 years of experience advising clients in the acquisition and management of commercial real estate in geographies across the United States. Our primary objective is the creation of value through the application of experience in real estate acquisitions, management, financing, development and disposition. The results of our efforts are measured in one category only—client satisfaction.

Background

The firm was founded in 2009 by a former executive team member of one of the Bay Area's most successful real estate capital intermediaries over the past 5 years, Presidio Exchange Advisors. The senior management team of Heritage Capital Advisors consists of the founder, Rocco Cortese, and two senior directors. Our team of professionals can address any real estate challenge through a platform that offers financial resources, asset management and, where necessary, full service real estate management with our affiliate, Heritage Real Estate Advisors. In this capacity, we offer a unique combination of advisory and tactical real estate service that is designed to serve a wide spectrum of client and real estate needs.

The careers of our team date back to the mid-1980s. As such, we have confronted the challenges of multiple real estate cycles. We have advised institutional clients during the difficult times of the Savings and Loan crisis, and the boom and eventual bust of the "dot.com" cycle. We have also conservatively advised private clients as they invested during the significant growth cycle that took place from 2003 through 2007. In 2009, one of the most difficult commercial real estate markets ever encountered by the U.S. economy, we established Heritage Capital Advisors to support our clients and create value with a full service capital management and advisory platform. Each member of our senior management team has known each other and worked together in various capacities through these cycles. It is this collective experience combined with a strong history of working together that creates our distinguishing character.
